Workshop Description:

10:00 – 11:30 — Veil Technique & Combos (Yallar)
We’ll explore elegant and dynamic veil techniques to expand your movement vocabulary.
This workshop will give you:
– Beautiful veil combinations for your own practice or choreography
– Practical ways to improve control and confidence with your veil
– Fresh ideas you can take straight into your classes and share with your students

12:00-13:30- Mechanics of Hip Technique with Igor
This session is all about advanced hip work – building strong, clear technique with layered and creative combinations. You’ll discover how to use your hips in expressive and unique ways that you can carry into your own dance style.

14:00 – 15:30 — Baladi Choreography.
This brand-new choreography will be built on the foundation of the hip technique from the earlier workshop. It’s the perfect way to take what you’ve just learned and see how it can be used to express emotion and power through movement. You can also use parts of this combination in your own choreographies and add your personal touch to them.
