Yallar is an internationally recognised bellydance artist, educator and founder of Yallar Dance Studio in the United Kingdom.
Since 2001, she has built a career that combines international performance, academic research, professional training and large-scale event production — establishing herself as a respected leader within the international bellydance community.
International Artistic Journey
At just 18 years old, Yallar began travelling independently to Cairo to train at prestigious festivals including Ahlan wa Sahlan and the Nile Group Festival, investing directly in authentic Egyptian technique, musical interpretation and stage mastery.
Over the past two decades, she has performed across Europe and the Middle East, including:
Egypt • Germany • Italy • Denmark • Sweden • Turkey • United Kingdom • Latvia
Her international stage presence reflects both artistic discipline and cultural depth.
Academic Foundation & International Training
Unlike many performers, Yallar combines extensive stage experience with strong academic credentials.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree and qualified as a professional Dance and Rhythm Teacher.
In 2012, she was selected for the Erasmus student exchange programme and studied at Ege University (Izmir, Turkey), where she focused on Turkish folklore dance traditions.
This international academic mobility expanded her understanding of Middle Eastern cultural forms beyond Raks Sharqi, strengthening her stylistic versatility and cultural literacy.
In 2014, she relocated to the United Kingdom to complete her Master’s degree in Community Dance Leadership.
Her academic research explored performance skills development in bellydance using contemporary dance training methodologies — forming the structured, results-driven system she now applies in her studio.
Her international education across Latvia, Turkey and the United Kingdom reflects a rare combination of artistic depth and academic discipline.

Yallar is the creator and producer of the annual Bellydance Spa Retreat UK, a professional training and performance event combining high-level instruction with community leadership.
