 Bellydance Foundations – Course for Complete Beginners

This course is designed especially for women who are new to bellydance. Whether you’ve always wanted to try or you're simply curious – this is your perfect starting point.

You’ll learn all the key foundational movements in a structured and supportive environment. These include:

  • Figure 8s

  • Chest lifts and drops

  • Snake arms

  • Belly accents

  • Camel walks
    ...and many more essential techniques.

Each class includes:

  • A guided warm-up
  • A detailed breakdown of one or more new elements
  • A short combo to help you apply what you’ve just learned
  • Time for questions and friendly support

By the end of the course, you'll not only feel more confident in your body, but you'll have a strong base to continue your dance journey.

This isn’t just about dance – it's about reconnecting with your body, releasing stress, and giving yourself an hour each week that’s just for YOU. Many students describe these classes as therapeutic and energising. And yes – you’ll also become part of our welcoming community of women supporting each other.

Please note: This is a structured course. To truly benefit and see results, regular attendance is important. It’s not a drop-in class you can join randomly – each week builds on the last.

In this session, Anna focuses on spinal flow, arm and shoulder movement, and deep body awareness — all through a graceful, dance-based approach.
If you're tired of repetitive yoga or Pilates routines and crave something more artistic and fluid, this is exactly what you've been looking for!

Reconnect with your body, awaken your spine, and transform your flexibility into dance.
No experience needed — just a love of movement and expression.

Every Saturday | 10:00–11:00 AM

This course is for you if:

  • You feel stiff and want more freedom in your spine and upper body

  • You’re bored with repetitive stretching routines and want something expressive

Stretch & Mobility Class

(for all levels – no dance experience needed)

This weekly class is designed to help you improve posture, flexibility, and body awareness — whether you’re a dancer or just want to move and feel better in your own body.

We focus on spinal alignment, opening the chest and shoulders, improving hip mobility, and gently releasing muscular tension. Each session includes guided exercises that stimulate circulation and lymphatic flow, helping to reduce puffiness and improve skin tone, while supporting feminine health and emotional wellbeing.

Stretching is not just about flexibility — it’s about creating space in the body and calming the nervous system. Over time, you’ll notice:

  • Better posture

  • Reduced tension and stiffness

  • A more toned and sculpted body line

  • Increased energy and improved mood

If you're also attending bellydance classes, this is a perfect combination to support your dance progress — you'll move more freely, recover faster, and prevent injuries.

Choreo Lab – Advanced Choreography Course

Location: North Solihull

Take your dance to the next level

If you’ve been learning belly dance for a while and you’re craving something more — more structure, more challenge, more growth — this course is for you.

Many dancers reach a point where the beginner and open-level classes are no longer enough. They love the dance, but don’t know where to go next.
Choreo Lab was created for exactly that moment — to give you a clear path forward.

Over 8 weeks, we’ll build a complete Mejance choreography with veil — a powerful stage-ready piece made up of contrasting sections: an elegant entrance, grounded baladi, upbeat saidi followed by grand finale.
It’s an excellent introduction to performance-style solo dancing and a brilliant way to strengthen your technique, musicality and confidence.


Is it for you?

This course is ideal for dancers who’ve already trained with me — through regular classes, choreography courses or similar.
We won’t be revisiting basic steps, so you’ll need a good grasp of fundamental movement, even if you’re not aiming to perform just yet.

We’ll focus on flow, transitions, accents, musical phrasing and expressive presence — all the things that take your dance from “nice” to captivating.

If you want to be challenged, supported, and inspired — this is your next step.

  • Cancelling a payment plan midway will result in losing your place

  • If you miss a class, you’ll receive a video recording to help you stay on track

  • Course dates and times are fixed — there are no catch-up sessions

If you’re currently coming to this class as part of your Dancer’s Membership, nothing will change until your current membership ends.
After that, you’ll need to book into the course under the new structure if you wish to continue.

Why Belly Dance? 

Raks Sharki (aka Belly Dance) is a dance style where a woman can change her identity and explore different sides of her emotions: from sadness to happiness, from anger to sensitivity-every feeling will find its place in this feminine dance style. Belly Dance improves your heart health, overall muscle strength, balance and coordination, and reduces depression. Belly dancing keeps you young,  improves memory, and additionally, whilst the physical movement of the dance helps reduce stress, anxiety, dancing with others also helps us feel more connected and social.

Bring comfortable gym wear such as leggings or shorts. Please avoid harem pants and long skirts as it prevents the teacher to see how your legs move. Stretchy top or sports bra for the upper body and bare feet, non-slippery socks or ballet shoes-whatever feels more convenient. Please do not wear coin belts for the group classes (we don’t want the teacher to lose her voice, don’t we?). Having a bottle of water is highly recommended.
