Belly Dance Body Fondation. Saturday & Sunday 9-10 AM
The class that makes every other workshop work better. This is the missing piece most dancers don’t even realise they need.
In just 1 hour, we prepare your body so you can actually get the most out of every masterclass — instead of struggling with positions, balance or control.
Because here’s the truth:
- On most workshops, teachers use correct posture, alignment and technique…
- But they don’t have time to explain or fix it in detail
And without this foundation — real progress becomes very limited.
In this session, we will:
• build correct posture and body alignment
• activate the right muscles for control and stability
• improve turns, balance and coordination
• release tension and increase mobility
So when you step into your next workshop — your body is ready, responsive and able to follow faster, cleaner and with confidence.
- This is how you move from “trying” to actually dancing
- This is what makes the difference between frustration and progress
Highly recommended before taking other workshops during the retreat
Join Saturday, Sunday… or both to feel the full transformation
Bellydance Technique
Balance, hips & waves. Saturday 10-11:30 AM
This is a deep technique class focused on the foundations that every beautiful movement is built on.
We will break down and refine the key elements of bellydance so your dancing becomes more controlled, fluid and effortless.
In this workshop, we will work on:
• balance and stability for cleaner movement and confidence
• hip technique — precision, control and softness
• waves and body flow — making movements seamless and connected
• coordination between upper and lower body
This is exactly the kind of work that is often used in choreography…
but not always explained in detail.
- The difference between “doing steps” and truly dancing
- The details that make your movement look professional
Perfect for all levels — whether you want to build your foundation or refine your technique.
If you want smoother transitions, stronger control and more confidence in your body —
this class is essential
Belly Samba Technique

• samba basic steps — understanding the core rhythm and structure
• bounce technique — creating natural groove and flow
• footwork & coordination — building speed, precision and clarity
• weight transfer — smoother transitions and better balance
• integration with bellydance — blending softness with dynamic energy
This is exactly the kind of technique that is often used in choreography — but not always explained in detail.

This class is essential if you want to:
• feel more confident with faster rhythms
• improve coordination and musicality
• prepare your body for the Bossa Nova choreography workshop
Perfect for all levels — whether you are exploring samba for the first time or refining your technique.
Build the foundation. Feel the rhythm. Move with confidence
Bossa Nova Choreography
Saturday 14:00 – 15:30 PM
This is a choreography-based workshop where we will explore a unique fusion of bellydance, Bossa Nova, and Brazilian samba.
You will learn a full combination that blends smooth, relaxed flow with dynamic rhythm and expressive details.
In this workshop, we will work on:
• Bossa Nova movement quality — soft, grounded and fluid
• samba elements — bounce, rhythm and light footwork
• hipwork & isolations — adding texture and femininity
• musicality — understanding contrast between smooth and energetic sections
• fusion combinations — connecting styles into one cohesive dance
This choreography is designed to help you:
– move with more freedom and confidence
– explore new textures and dynamics in your dance
– develop your personal style through fusion
It is the perfect continuation after the Belly Samba Technique workshop, where we build the foundation — and here we bring it to life.
Perfect for dancers who want something fresh, elegant and full of Brazilian soul
Golden Era – Samia Gamal Style
Sunday 10:00 – 11:30 AM
This is a technique & artistry workshop dedicated to the timeless elegance of the Golden Era of Egyptian dance, inspired by the iconic Samia Gamal.
We will focus on refining the quality of movement so your dancing becomes softer, more fluid and effortlessly expressive.
In this workshop, we will work on:
• posture & alignment — creating a lifted, elegant silhouette
• soft transitions & flow — connecting movements seamlessly
• arms & lines — developing graceful, continuous motion
• musicality — interpreting classic Arabic music with sensitivity
• stage presence — embodying charm, lightness and confidence
This is exactly the kind of technique that is often seen in beautiful dancers — but rarely broken down in detail.

In this workshop, we will work on:
• leading with the body — initiating movement with intention
• transitions & flow — connecting ideas smoothly
• timing & musicality — knowing when to move and when to pause
• variation & layering — expanding your movement vocabulary
• confidence in improvisation — letting go of overthinking
This is exactly the kind of work that is often expected from dancers — but rarely taught step by step.
– How to avoid feeling “stuck” while improvising
– How to create interesting, dynamic movement in the moment
